A week from today I’ll be in San Francisco! Trips are good. Free trips are even better!
I’m going to guess posting Friday through Monday next week will be a little spotty. Maybe I’ll set up some autoposts. Don’t know what I’d write about though… The time I was in a pageant? That has nothing to do with food, but it’s kinda ridiculous (and I’m telling you friends, you haven’t LIVED until you’ve paraded across a stage at a casino in a swimming suit and clear heels.)
And I’m going to put up the pumpkin butter recipe today-it’s super easy!
On to my food…
I tried out some pumpkin butter + cream cheese on crackers as a snack
Thumbs up. I love cream cheese, but I never buy it. Why is that?
We had peanut noodles for dinner last night. Here’s the before, because veggies not coated in brown sauce are prettier

And for dessert I just wanted more pumpkin butter and cream cheese. On toast this time.
(If you want a cheap pinot, this stuff from Trader Joe’s is some of the best super cheap wine I’ve had. Which doesn’t say much, because it’s super cheap wine, but still… I’d recommend it. I want to say it’s 4 bucks, but I could be full of lies. It’s 6 tops anyways.)

Oh Fujis, why are you so good? We’re going through these suckers like crazy right now (I should add, I don’t show everything I eat. Too much work. But I’ve been having a minimum of one of these a day)
Before he met me, the fiance only ate Granny Smiths. My making him eat fujis was clearly one of the better things I’ve done to his life.
Oh… and an exciting announcement! I’m going to start having a weekly(ish, we haven’t worked out the details) contribution from another person I know who is an eating machine…. stay tuned for details!
